Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Game of Crowns at gameofcrowns.lol (the “Service”). By creating an account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What this is

Game of Crowns is a game and a work of parody. Players compete for fictional titles associated with countries.

Titles awarded on the Service are imaginary. They confer no legal, political, governmental, or proprietary rights of any kind. Being named “King of India” on this Service has no more real-world effect than winning a round of a board game. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government, state, monarchy, head of state, or public figure.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to use the Service. You must have a valid Google account and provide accurate information when signing up. One person may hold one account. Creating multiple accounts, whether manually or by automated means, is prohibited and is grounds for removal of all of them.

3. No ownership, no transfer, no value

Titles, crowns, reigns, backer counts, and every other in-game item or status are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use for as long as we operate the Service. They are not property. Specifically, you may not sell, buy, trade, transfer, rent, gift, or otherwise deal in them, and they have no cash value and are not redeemable for money or anything else of value.

We may modify, reset, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including any title or reign, at any time and without compensation.

4. Payments

The Service is currently free. We charge nothing to sign up, to claim a throne, to back a player, or to win. If we introduce paid features, they will be governed by separate terms presented to you before any charge.

5. Your conduct

You agree not to:

• create fake, automated, or duplicate accounts, or manipulate backer counts by any means
• impersonate any person, organisation, government, or public figure
• post content that is hateful, harassing, threatening, obscene, defamatory, or unlawful
• use the Service to attack, demean, or incite hostility toward any nation, ethnicity, religion, or group
• post links to malware, phishing, illegal goods, or content prohibited by our link policy
• use automated means to access, scrape, or interact with the Service
• attempt to breach, probe, or circumvent our security or access controls

6. Content you provide

You keep ownership of the content you submit — your display name, biography, avatar, and link. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service, including in share images generated from your profile.

You are responsible for that content and confirm you have the right to post it.

7. Moderation and termination

We may remove content, void a reign, suspend or delete any account, and restrict access to any country or to the whole Service, at our discretion and without notice, where we consider it necessary to enforce these terms, comply with law, or protect the Service or its users.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.

8. Territorial scope

Some countries are unavailable on the Service, and some are available only under non-royal titles, because of laws protecting sitting monarchs. These choices are ours and are not open to appeal. Our country list follows ISO 3166-1 and is not a statement of political recognition.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any title, reign, or count will be preserved.

Content on user profiles, including links, is created by users and not by us. We do not endorse it and are not responsible for it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, reputation, titles, or standing arising from your use of the Service. Because the Service is free, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to one hundred Indian rupees (₹100).

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Continuing to use it after a change means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
